@Flyingsaucesir I don't really think Trump is in deep shit. He's spent his whole life being a total fucking asshole and he's never paid any consequences. Add to that the fact that the United States has never prosecuted a former president, and you have an unfortunate recipe for Trump getting away with it all.

What yo say is all true, but we have never had a president quite like Trump. No other American President has ever refused to concede losing a re-election bid, or been caught on tape trying to get an election official to falsify election results, or, on prime-time TV, incited a mob to attack the Capital and interfere with the constitutional transfer of power. New ground has been broken in many areas. Why should that not include prosecution of a former president?

@Flyingsaucesir It absolutely should. Then again, it should have the day he left office. And it also should have caused him to be removed from office before his term was up. And it should have made him unelectable to begin with. But none of those things happened. And I can't get my hopes up to think this will either.
