Holy mole`! I have lived to see Bobby Seale , Huey P. Newton & the Black Panthers portrayed accurately on Mysteries of the Abandoned. Much of the piece described
the group as I remember rit & not how the MSM portrayed them at the time. How criminal our FBI & Hoover, & the branches of our government violated the people's trust & laws.
All of my positions on issues from the past have been, are being confirmed. Tho I lost many friends because of their positions, behaviors, beliefs, I am undaunted in belief that I am a prophet, .....with no followers.

If the prophet is not there in the woods when the tree falls, then no. Unless they are astro-projecting.

Can a prophet with no followers hear a tree falling in the woods if he/she is not there?

@KKGator
I am the only prophet I follow. I am used to having dogs following me around.

What a naïve childlike nation we were to not believe our African mothers questioning why there were so many drugs flooding their neighborhoods. Thanks Raygun.

The show is on Discovery Channel. It depicted the Oakland Civic Auditorium abandoned & spoke of Bobby & Fred having rallies there as well as Dr. King. The depiction of the Panthers was 180 degrees from what the papers presented. Very positive account. Until it all fell apart after government persecution & drug dumping in our African communities.

True DesMoines police "narcS" were the greatest dealers in dope mostly to Panthers and women of color since J Edgar Hoover & Chicago cops filled Fred Hampton body with bullets asleep ... the truth remains Panthers founded the first major daycare called TINY TOTS with great women like Joehanna Cheatom

Always good to see vindication. I wish I was a profit.

Which espisode is this and when did it originally air? Is it available to watch on Netflix? I would enjoy seeing this.

I don't hold much regard for prophets, but it's good to see the maligned vindicated.
I remember all of them, and others, who were painted as criminals by a corrupt and racist system.
