Never had one but tried a bar called a Hum-dinger once, bloody near took the top off my head it did.

@MaryChristmas Opposite, more like having a Blast-furnace in you mouth and what it did to my innards after that I'd prefer NOT to recall if you don't mind.

@Triphid Sounds like an allergy...maybe?
Was reading something the other day where a man loved the flavor of sharp cheese, he did not realize until nearly 40 that it was not actually supposed to burn and hurt. He had a mild allergy. It wasn't until he was talking with someone while eating a sandwich and mentioned the cheese burning and hurting and the person told him cheese wasn't supposed to to that.
He thought it was like spice. And sharp meant...sharp.
He had no clue until that day that sharp meant "tangy" to the rest of us.

They aren't even all that good.
Some of the Magnum ones like double raspberry I did get a little vocal when I found out the roommate had eaten my last one late one night and I was already almost tasting it.
