It's free speech until you piss someone off... then it's hate speech.

At a minimum, hate speech includes disparaging someone for some feature they were born with or otherwise have no control over.

Disparaging someone for their belief system is a bit trickier because religions often consist of weird or obviously silly beliefs.

Why is it OK to disparage Christians for their beliefs, but hate speech when Christians disparage atheists? In this case, the social environment figures into the definition. Atheists are a comparatively powerless minority while Christians are the power-holding majority.

It get me when religiotards take my attacks on their beliefs as being personal attacks.

I have always thought that it's better to be pissed off than to be pissed on. 🙂

I habitually piss off religiotards. They also piss me off with their abusive cretinism.

Yup. Just ask the Thinking Atheist. His Facebook page was put in time out for 30 days! It won’t be too long before thought police and religionists band together and pass laws against public critiques and criticisms of religion. When lampooning, parodying and otherwise making fun of religion and religious figures is banned, we will have become the western Taliban.

Exactly.

You can be free with your hate.

Hate imprisons those who hate.
