Am I the only one that thought this commercial had a strong atheist component? I haven't heard anyone pick up on it.

I do my best not to glow, especially in open country. It gives away your position to raiding parties or artillery spotters.

I always glow for show, after a big O….😊

Hmmm ... that could also be cataracts aggravated by increased blood pressure .... just say'n. 😀

@Normanbites Had both eyes done recently, nice try!!?!😜

Perhaps not the only one, I personally think a "strong atheist component" is too much of a stretch for a dumb commercial like the one you posted.

It would appear my perceptive filters need some adjustment. Too bad, I was thinking perhaps more of the population was getting smarter.

@Normanbites nope, wrong again, population definitely getting dumber, otherwise explain to me qanon, magas, Trumpers, sov cits, moorish cits and the whole list of moronic assortment of proud imbeciles who populate social media.

@Mofo1953 I'm not sure how we are in disagreement at this point.

Ahhh well, I always wanted to be "unique" at something. I guess I finally made it.

I glowed once. I had been working out in a brutal Buffalo winter and my face and hands were dried, chapped and painful. So I used some of my girlfriend's lotion, which helped a great deal. But when I went to the bar that night, I was glowing orange under the blacklights.

I've also heard reports of motorcyclists being struck by lightning (and surviving fine even continuing to ride) and glowing for a few seconds after (probably St Elmo's fire), but it's not something I am in a hurry to try.

No glow. Nothing atheist about that ad.

Or could be a reference to the fact folks say pregnant women glow, people in love glow, a little too much radiation at work you glow.....

6

I didn't.

Nobody glows?

I don't see it. Who glows? Maybe anyone still living after they get hit with one of Putin's nukes.

If things get to that stage everyone will be glowing except for those who are rich enough to afford well stocked deep underground shelters. However, when they eventually emerge it will not be a pretty sight that greets them.

OK, well I think it was "understood" we are talking about "under normal conditions" but yes, there are ways a body can be made to glow. A fresh coating of radium based paint would do nicely as well, I'm sure.

Yeah...I don't see it either. Sorry.

Oh well!! During my "indoctrination" as a child, I was taught that "holy people and god" glowed, or so I seem to recall.

@Normanbites I cannot comment on holy people who may glow, however, I have personally witnessed a burst of energy and glow in someone dying from luekaemia.

@ASTRALMAX Until it can be repeated and measured, I'm going to stick with "nobody glows". One only need to look into the "reliability" of eyewitnesses to understand that anecdotal evidence just doesn't work.

@Normanbites I thought the glowing was just Jesus and his mommie

@misstuffy Pregnant women are said to glow.

@ASTRALMAX Yep, I think I listed that one, didn't I?

I don't see it.
