@mcgeo52 That shows how much politics have changed with time. Bernie is a New Deal type socialist, in some ways as lefty as FDR, in other ways not much different than Ike. Except, unlike Ike, Bernie has not opposed the MIC openly, like Ike did on his way out of public life. Maybe because since that time the subject has become even more taboo in DC. Big money, esp. from the MIC, has corrupted both parties so much that no one dare question the military budget or wars of choice without being marginalized from any real power in their party.

When the Sanders people tried to warn her about the possibility of losing swing states, and wanted to volunteer in those states, she wouldn’t even talk to them. Michael Moore tried to warn her about the swing states, and she wouldn’t listen to him. When no less an expert on Presidential campaigns than Bill Clinton himself tried to warn her, she wouldn’t even listen to him. Her sense of entitlement was so strong that she could not begin to conceive of the idea that she could lose.

And, let’s not forget that HRC and DWS did everything they could to make sure that Trump was the Republican candidate because they didn’t see any way they could lose to him. They were completely out of touch with the populist sentiment that helped put Trump in power, and could have easily elected Bernie Sanders.

But the lion's share of blame has to go to women who withheld their votes for Hillary because they are self-hating women that don't believe a women could be qualified, and didn't even look at what Trump was. Progressives have put out propaganda that excuses them and demonizes Hillary. Some of that might be true, but Progressives also stayed home in droves, but in their case, they easily succumbed to Putin's social media bots.

@Paul4747, by all calculations, the only votes that really counted were the Electoral College votes. Hillary knew this and chose to ignore it. We are living with the consequences.
