It's not just that a majority of people favor legal abortion. Those opposed to abortion base their view on their Christian religion. The Bible says nothing about forbidding abortion, and if anything, sanctions it. Abortion is a political gimmick intended to motivate Christians who were otherwise indifferent.
Most critically, Christians have absolutely zero credibility nor standing in moral issues. Pro-life? Does the Holocaust ring a bell? (among a myriad of other atrocities).

@Gwendolyn2018 We need to make it clear that is abortion goes, so does porn. Put the men on notice that their precious porn will become a felony in the eyes of the Catholic SCOTUS . Then see if they oppose court-packing.
My wife and I WANTED two children. Three years after the second, I had myself neutered.
Then there's the question, "What about a woman who has been neutered?"
Nothing it "cut and dried". There are many variables here. The American system makes it too easy for a man to disappear.

Because I'm sure you don't consider these issues and I'm sure also don't care, if the woman decides to keep the child the man has to pay for it for the first eighteen years whether he wanted it or not. And what if the guy wants his kid? He can't have a kid any other way. So she has to deal with 9 months of having a child and he has to deal with 18 years of paying for it. Of course all the things you listed the woman knows full well before she has sex so it's kind of a choice she makes by having sex isn't it, risking all those possibilities? After all, this site is for having discussions right? Just sayin'

What fantasy world do you live in where even a majority of fathers are paying living costs for the children they conceive? Where rape victims get child support, even if their rapist happen to not go to jail? Where victims of sexual predators in jail cover the cost of raising their evil seed? And for 18 years? Maybe women on here would like to discuss just how well that works?
@Gwendolyn2018 nice deflection. So as long as we're playing that game what about the couple who decided to have sex to have a kid and then she changes her mind on him? What percentage of that happens? I didn't think you'd actually consider the issues. The law says the guy pays for the kid whether he wants it or not. What percentage of those guys go to jail for not paying? You're just clueless, didn't think you'd want any discussion on the matter because there is no discussion right? You're just right

@Gwendolyn2018 yes, all women are wonderful there are no women who are prostitutes or drug dependent and who leave babies in dumpsters or in strollers at malls. And amazingly, all those wonderful women sleep with assholes. Because we know all men are assholes and all women are great judges of character. Thanks for not addressing my question, you remember what the question was right? What if I want my kid?
