Pretty much.

Don't be ashamed to display our flag upside down. It's a standard expression of the owner - or nation - being "under distress".

It's honorable to do so!

I have been here since Clinton I. Other than the abortion issue, (for those who have been here for very long)....

Which previous president's period this compares to?

Iโ€™m not a fan of abortion. Iโ€™d pay a chick off and raise a baby myself if I got someone pregnant rather than being okay with an abortion; but the past few rulings have been pretty bad ass.

Trump put three constitutional absolutists in place. For the items that are listed within the constitution, theyโ€™re ruling to make laws on a federal level for items listed in the constitution (gun and religious stuff), and the items not listed in the constitution are being ruled to create the ability for individual states to make their own decisions on the cases.

For as fucked up as the liberals have made things; this whole three branches of government thing has worked out really well, and President Trump put the right people in place to maintain the separation of powers. Itโ€™s pretty bad ass and offers a little hope to get past these emotional idiots that want to force their views on the world.

โ€œPay a chick off?โ€ What century is this?

We sometimes forget that many of the so-called liberal decisions were made by a Supreme Court led by Republican chief justices, appointed by Republicans. When the Supreme Court makes decisions that expand individual liberties and rights, is this not a good thing for all Americans?

The right to privacy is not explicit in the Constitution, but is a principal embraced by both liberals and conservatives. The right to privacy is foundational to protecting each of us from the powers of the state, whether wielded by liberal or conservative political leaders. This weekโ€™s decision to reverse Roe v. Wade weakens the privacy rights in doctor-patient confidentiality. It allows states to use the resources at their disposal to literally reach inside a womanโ€™s body and take control of that which the state deems is theirs.

As I would not want to live in a country where a communist government used the resources of the state to oppress our individuality, neither would I want to live in a nation where religiously motivated conservatives use the same state resources for their own political agendas.

@p-nullifidian People can move to California or one of the other liberal states if they want to support abortion.

@CourtJester Seriously? Do you honestly believe that most people have the ability and the resources to uproot themselves from their family and their community, and just go to some state that allows abortion, based on that topic alone? Do we really prefer to rely on 50 individual states to come up with their own definitions?

@p-nullifidian
Itโ€™s a matter of personal choices

@CourtJester If thatโ€™s all it is, perhaps a critical mass of blue state residents should relocate to red states, thereby making all states purple! ๐Ÿ˜‚

@p-nullifidian
They can try.
A family moved from California to Jasper, Alabama and they had a mysterious house fire and flattened vehicles tires. Itโ€™s under investigation, but not all areas are very tolerant of stupidity.

@CourtJester Nothing quite like Southern hospitality! ๐Ÿ˜‚

I am even more sure now that civil war, in some form, is coming in the next couple years...
