There are too many variables to give you a number, but I will tell a story. In my younger days, my brother and I spent the day laying a stone walkway and steps at his house. We finished a case of beer doing that job, and had a little buzz, but were not really drunk. We had to get some more for that night, lol.

I try not to find out, but two beers and I'm feeling it (IPA and craft beers). Pretentious as it sounds I don't normally drink domestic beers, but they tend to have less alcohol so I imagine I could have more of those.

I don't drink beer. It looks like something I would not want to drink, and tastes even worse. I don't drink anything alcoholic. It's like drinking liquid medicine mixed with bilge water. Yuck.

For some reason I don't get drunk on beer. I don't really drink much anymore but never have really gotten drunk on beer and at one time could down a 12 pack in an afternoon no problem.
