@Druvius I think you'd prefer this map.

And once again you fail to understand I am for peace and diplomacy, but thank you for confiming your partisan colonial mindset.

@Druvius Which country is open to diplomacy and under what terms? Russia's idea of diplomacy is for them to annex Ukraine and if the world doesn't like it, they'll threaten nuclear war. Very peaceful and diplomatic.

Do you mean to tell me that there are actually yanks who know that there is a world outside of their country? Hard to believe.

Sorry to burst your insular bubble, but i had a good grounding in Geography and Ancient History during both grammar, HS, and that bit of college......

@AnneWimsey you're a rare and wonderful exception 😆🤗

@AnneWimsey Most Australians I've met, like Americans and the US. There are people on this site, some who actually live here, that hate this country.

@barjoe People are people, it's the interventionist foreign policy I don't like.
The most arrogant foreigners I have come across, if I had to group, as an Australian are Israeli's and Russians.

@puff How many foreigners do you "come across"? Our city is like a melting pot. There's 200K Russians living in Philadelphia. We have Israeli, Iranian, Chinese, Korean, Arab, Indian, African neighborhoods. We even have Australian "foreigners", who like it here. So long as they don't fuck with me, I'm cool with them. I haven't found one nationality more arrogant than another. Just individual assholes.

@barjoe I tend to meet foreigners O/S working SE Asia on time off. And directly through work (drilling/ oil rigs). Maybe I meet the wrong people? Like I said, people are individual so don't like to group but if I had to...........Israeli's and Russians, followed by German and Dutch. Some Sth Africans have a bit of a superior attitude too. My ex is Thai.
I much prefer Persians to Arabs from what I have encountered..

@puff There is a powerful Russian mob in NE Philly, so you gotta watch when dealing with them, but I've never had a problem. Some of the Israelis I know are shopkeepers and many are also originally from Russia. Both groups seem to have very good looking women, which is noticable. There's a Vietnamese community, Korea section, many Indians live just north of the city, Africans SW, lots of Puerto Rican and Dominicans. The city is also 55% Black. I've met good and bad people from all groups.

@barjoe People generally have the same needs and wants. As a former expat myself, expat communities do differ slightly. A bit friendlier.
Australia is very multicultural as well, more so the last 30 odd years. Perhaps changing a bit too quickly.

@Cyklone thanks, i do not think so, i had an "ordinary" schooling in a small area of my state....then this home-schooling thing started, along with See & Say & New Math, the 3 most useless concepts i have ever seen.
