Happy Harvest Festival Day to all! Regardless of what anyone says, it IS all about the turkey.

Yesterday for me was no turkey, no pies, and no cranberry sauce. Too much of that crap in the past and I do not care if I ever eat turkey again.

I like that "Happy Harvest" festival day! I traveled to be with my family this weekend and my son-in-law made a delicious meal, and wouldn't let me help. (wise choice, as I'm not the best cook! ) I did have a slice of turkey, but I definitely filled my tummy up with the scrumptious roasted brussel sprouts along with the mashed potatoes and stuffing more than turkey. We all got tired early after traveling, so we went to bed before eating the pie for dessert, so I guess that means pie for breakfast in the morning!

Since I am not anyone, I'll stick to the plethora of Native, First People's, Amer , , Indigenous, Indian fare that feeds the world, of the plant variety. Enjoy!
