@phoenixone1 They are not guilty by a legal standard until they've been proven so, having had the opportunity to defend themselves. It's a Constitutional right, and a damn important one. A trial will flush out how the documents were removed from their proper place and who exactly was involved.

And the mere fact that it is possible to remove TOP SECRET DOCUMENTS and STORE THEM IN YOUR COUNTRY CLUB or GARAGE??? You have no firsthand information on which to arrive at that conclusion. You are relying on Information that you can not be certain is entirely accurate We don't get to decide In advance of a trial if the defendant is guilty. Until the evidence has been examined and cross-examined, we do not know what the relevant facts actually are.

Yes, there appears to be a real problem here but must proceed cautiously through the evidentiary process to establish guilt. For one thing, the Biden circumstances appear to be much less serious than the Trump circumstances and they've been handled a lot better. But knowledge and participation in both cases still has to be established beyond a reasonable doubt in the criminal context and it most certainly has not.

@LovinLarge I completely understand where you are coming from. I also understand that there is a distortion of facts because of Media bias. I also know that it is a FACT that TOP SECRET DOCUMENTS were taken KNOWINGLY by both tRUMP AND bIDEN...removed from the White House and moved to locations that were NOT UNDER SECURE GOV'T CONTROL. You don't have to be a rocket scientist or a lawyer to know that was AGAINST RULES OF CHAIN OF CUSTODY. A SECURITY BREACH of untold magnitude and consequences. PEOPLES LIVES and NATIONAL SECURITY were COMPROMISED...and we are supposed to IGNORE THAT?...I GUARANTEE...RUSSIA, CHINA, NORTH KOREA are not ignoring this. If we don't slam the lid SHUT on this and make an example...it will bite us in the ASS. This is not about court room proceedure or legal rights...that is automatically in place...
This is about setting a PRECEDENT. This is about making sure this NEVER happens AGAIN. I don't give a rip about embarrassing any politician or department head who was responsible. They need to BE CHARGED...TAKEN INTO CUSTODY...BAIL REVOKED...and PUBLICLY TRIED and hopefully CONVICTED for CRIMES AGAINST THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. If they can get away with treating NATIONAL SECURITY with such an ARROGANT, CAVALIER ATTITUDE...then we should just surrender and learn Russian and Chinese and Korean. NOBODY should be allowed to walk on this ... NOBODY.

@phoenixone1 Even if I agreed with you and I can't because I do not have access to evidence that proves your facts, sitting and even former presidents are not just arrested and imprisoned (except for Grant who was arrested and fined during his presidency for speeding in his horse and buggy).

I haven't heard anyone suggest that they should just walk, but as a matter of diplomacy this type of matter needs to be handled with discretion. Surely both matters must be investigated and handled promptly in the best interest of the country. But I'm sorry, I don"t think your approach is realistic and simply don't want a sitting president arrested before the matter is thoroughly investigated. An example is how a Committee just investigated Trump for a number of things and closed by asking the Justice Dept to charge Trump with all things that were substantiated during the investigation. We can get where you want to go if the facts are there, but there is an established diplomatic process for doing so.

@LovinLarge interesting fact about Grant. As far as sitting Presidents being arrested...I agree, but if caught red handed I believe they should be forced to resign and then face charges. Biden is going to rapidly lose any credibility he had. He is going to be basically useless till the next election and at this point it is doubtful he would win against anyone. Discretion will be nonexistent at this point for obvious reasons. International trust has been COMPROMISED...TWICE IN 6 YEARS...first by Cadet Bone Spurs with his insulting rhetoric aimed at our European Allies, threatening to pull us out of NATO, his alliance with Putin, his blatant insults to the Intelligence community, his Attempted Coup to overthrow a FREE AND FAIR ELECTION and last but not least his THEFT OF CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS.
Biden KNEW he wasn't supposed to have the documents. You can't tell me after 50 years he "didn't know"??? I know you see my position as unrealistic and probably impossible(and you are probably correct),but it doesn't change the fact that we need to act decisively and act soon. As the saying goes..."strike while the iron is hot". Take both of them out at the same time and let this COUNTRY'S citizens and the WORLD know that we mean business.
