On the 16th my oldest daughter came to visit me. We talked and had a pretty good time. This is the daughter that had breast cancer that also went to her brain. She is stage 4 for life they say, but her main problems now seem to be because of chemo and radiation treatments. Her doctors and everyone involved are pushing for her to have permanent disability and this will be through Social Security and Medicaid. She cannot work and has no money.

I can only imagine that her mother has influenced her a lot politically and her mother is a Trump supporter. We were talking about her getting this needed care and she told me flat out that she just does not like Biden. I got very un-polite real quick. My remarks are that people can take their "likes" and shove 'em up their ass. I told her you do not see me with a Biden hat, T-shirt, flag, or even a bumper sticker on my car. It is OK to not "like" the President. Who says you have to like the guy in office? The real thing is that you have to know where your benefits are going to come from.

The Republican Party does not give a rat's ass about your healthcare or Social Security. They do not sponsor plans for these benefits or expanding them. They favor you getting a 401K very early in life. OK, but this is almost laughable if you think it would cover you for a lifetime. It won't. I told her that when I vote a want a man in office who will support Social Security and it's other outreach programs for all of us. We need this and other countries have it. Why can't we? Always remember that you will not get this with Republicans.

I was concerned about her healthcare and it got political. I had to explain to her where any Medicare expansion would be coming from. This is why I can vote for someone I do not like. You do not have to like your President. If he has a dog, you do not have to like the dog either.
