I have a this stuff called Dave's Insanity Sauce. It is insanely hot. You can actually buy a product called Pure Cap which is liquid capsaicin concentrate. It's clear, comes in eye dropper bottle and is 1 million Scoville Units. When handling, habaneros, scotch bonnet, ghost peppers, even lower unit hot peppers, you should wear gloves. The volatile oil can remain on you hands even after washing. I've made the mistake of touching my face, my eyes and worst of all talking a piss, ouch.. To say the least. It burns
No thanks, a mild jalapeno is about my limit.
I can appreciate that. There comes a point, which varies for each individual, when "heat" swamps flavour and becomes pointless.
try a chilli sauce made from Caroline Reapers, Makes tabasco sauce look more like table pepper than a real chilli sauce.
C Reapers range from 1.2million to 2.2 million on the Scoville scale.
Habanero from 100,000 to 350,000 Scoville heat units
No ghost peppers are artificial hybrids.
Nothing natural is hotter then habaneros.
Peppers are best when you can still taste them.
Ghost peppers are just a 3rd degree burn for no reason, not possible for me to catch flavor in the inferno.
@Willow_Wisp 2 drops of C Reaper sauce in a pot of stew, I have flavour and the heat.
As I am inclined to indulging to excess, alas I can vouch for the validity of rectal burning and ulcers.
BUT I can never stop my chilli addiction.
I use all chillis in various ways apart from eating straight from the bush, including making a deep heat lotion for aching muscles.
