I adore weird and cheesy, original and even BAD flicks. I seem to have a soft spot (not sure if it's the heart...or the head) for expensive failures, over produced but obviously loved (by the creators) films...my favorite being the 1986 Lucasfilm, 'Howard The Duck'.
Been a fan since it came out, I knew even as I was watching it in the theater that it was going to TANK, it was just too weird, too dark, too silly...such a shame, as I LOVE the concept of a living cartoon/alien/animal humanoid being depicted NOT as CGI or a cartoon (Roger Rabbit or Cool World style ) but as a practical effect...and I STILL say that duck suit was amazingly well done for the time, the face displaying VERY impressive emotions, etc...
Funny, dark, smart ass, crazy and brilliant effects (the Dark Overlord remains my all time favorite nightmare movie creature) I will adore this film until the day I die.
Oh, and Lea Thompson in lingerie. Hubba hubba.

Here's an obscure one.....Hausu (1977), Japanese haunted house movie that just has to be seen to be believed. Piano "eating" a teenage girl, a severed head biting a girl on the ass, blood spewing cat, a hot pants wearing kung fu girl, a man is transformed into a pile of bananas, and that great catchy pop tune.

Yeah, great movie. Ahead of it's time.
Plan 9 From Outer Space. It may be the worst movie ever made. If it cost more than a couple thousand dollars to make it doesn't show. It was the last movie Bela Lugosi appeared in. Check it out.

Ed Wood was a zealot for sure. The Tim Burton movie about him is hilarious.
Very entertaining movie. An excellent training film for would be cinema producers 
Technically, plan 9 from Outer Space was not the last movie Bella Lugosi ever made because he died before Ed Wood began shooting the movie. The only scenes in which Lugosi actually appears were shot before filming began.

If you have never seen this movie, I recommend also watching the 1994 movie titled Ed Wood starring Johnny Depp. It explains a lot.
@Sticks48 Right! I KNEW I should not have put that line in there that started with "Technically," because it is just not important. However it is phrased, the continuing friendship/professional relationship between Wood and Lugosi is an important part of the story. My intent was just to add the information that the death of his star attraction did not stop Producer Wood from going on with the show

Try 'rubber' (a killer tyre), one eyed monster (killer penis) and zombeaver (take a guess...) bit never, ever the stallone dredd, some things are just beyond the pale.
