I work from Cuba, Mo. and just out of town as you head for Steelville, the "floating capital of Missouri" there is an annoying Jesus sign at the end of a driveway. It appears Asian or Oriental, could be there supporting LGBTQ. The troubling part is that there is a picture and nobody has a clue as to what this man looked like. Robes, hair, facial features. All we can do is guess. I suppose that in todays world if you see it enough you will believe it. That is exactly how politics today does it with saying something long enough. This is the exact picture that I see by the driveway.

The really strong religions do not like to see images of their 'holy trinity' and i have never seen an image of the 'Holy ghost. it would not scare me anyway.

This gives the elders more chance to work with their members imagination and perceptions . So no competition to anything they say,

Repenting something over and over again, in hopelessness. And getting the same results, is called insanity. Mainly ignore things, that are not based on good sense

When my kids was little, I always told them that Jesus looked like Snoop Dog…..🤠

When something is seen every day....it's hard to not let its annoyance not begin to get to you.....when something like that happens, I try to make a concience effort to choose not to look. Sometimes helps..

A guy told me in a store God was real because of the paintings by DaVinci. He didn't understand the painting was done 1500 years after the death of jesus.

So many believe in that "divinely inspired" explaintion of different things.....more of the crap about if inspired by god,.....its like from "gods lips to your mind" kinda thing.

got plenty of time to worry about a fanciful picture of a mythical character, have ya?
How about My Little Pony, does that bother you?

I'm not worried about anything, Anne. The fact that the picture bothers me at all is that so many people believe the image represents their reality. It is also a system I was once a part of. If anyone thinks My Little Pony is real they usually grow up. Christians seem not to.

We are pretty sure that if he existed at all, he would have had Middle Eastern features and skin tone...not Asian or Caucasian.

The reason I mention Asian and Oriental in my post is because I have seen this exact same picture used on some of their sites. It is even on an Indian site.
