a fool in power is very scary

It has been my observation that the far right has gathered more and more support starting back during the Bush years and then really growing during the Obama administration. Trump seems to be the culmination of that trend. I often say Republicans are dogs (pack animals) and Democrats are cats (loners). Democrats can't seem to get a plan that everybody can get behind. Republicans are strongly behind God, guns and greed. They seem to be completely destroying America with only one-third of the population supporting their bills and their President.

I don't see this government getting any better. It's far too easy for the wealthy to corrupt the 500 or so people running our government. At this point, especially with the great political divide, only secession or bloody revolution are gonna solve the corruption problems we have now.

He likely gets a bazillion death threats in any given week, but we just don't hear about them. One can only hope...

I have never been scared like I am now. So many things I thought we could trust in have proven untrustworthy. Our systems are threatened to their core. It feels like everything could crash around us. Trump instigates, the GOP enables, the Dems are irrelevant, the (reliable) press is vilified (and they also enable...), social media propagates all sorts of foolishness, and people I have long respected espouse idiotic ideas. Where do we find hope? Will people wake up in time? How do I need to wake up also, how am I contributing to the mess? My mind is awhirl...

I don't think tRUMPf is smart at all--he is easily manipulated by those who sing his praises and kiss his orange ass in order to achieve their goals.

And, the Republican politicians without spines or morality are standing by and letting him do it.Damn them!!

Someone has to stop him-I keep hoping his plane crashes or someone takes him out. He is the new Hitler but ignorant piece of shit.

I can only agree with you. Daily there is something new to divide us and he is isolating us from the rest of the world and I think it is a calculated move. Everyone he appoints to a cabinet post is either incompetent or against the very department they lead. Bannon may not be lounging in the WH anymore but he is someone interested in dismantling the government and that is what is happening. I think waiting for impeachment is too long. He is incompetent to hold office and the people in the government that can exercise the checks and balances are not making the necessary moves
