Texas shooting: Eight killed by gunman in Allen mall: [bbc.com]
Sigh.
Life is cheap in the U$A. A penny buys you a dozen corpses.
Yep, more and more, and so often the shooter is planning to die by gunshot, either self inflicted or by being shot by police. So pointless.
The ripple effect of grief for those directly involved and also the publicity of each event making these kinds of things seem like an expected pass time for those with emotional problems and easy access to guns, is so so tragic.
Not sure what the magic number of deaths is to bend some conservatives minds to agree to at least some common sense gun laws.
My mind may not be functioning very well at the moment, but I have a feeling that any legislature in the U$A that tried to impose Australian style gun laws would itself be stormed by a large trigger happy mob, making January 6 look like a tea party.
OK. If we won't publish photos of the victims remains, how about the autopsy reports. We need to apply pressure and the only way to do that is to kick them in the balls. Show what these weapons are doing and you can be sure the Republicans will either fold or get voted out.
It must be made crystal clear that they represent the most depraved and degenerate evil.
Those who have thrown in their lot with them are the lowest form of asshole.
Maybe MAGA means retuning to the Wild West.
For many we have returned to the wild West. If I am stopped in a license check I explain my every move to the officer wanting to see my license. They think it is funny. Knowing what goes on, I am trying to stay alive.
@DenoPenno @Betty A couple of years ago I was pulled over for speeding, the cop that pulled me over was over the top! I had to raise my hands over my head and tell him that I am reaching into my glove compartment for my insurance, something wasn't right with him, he was shaking and very angry. All I did was speed, if they're hiring police with PTSD, I don't know. All these mass shootings are just beyond sad.
