Iran has executed two men who were convicted of "burning the Quran" and "insulting the Prophet of Islam", the country's judiciary says.
Yousef Mehrad and Sadrollah Fazeli-Zare ran dozens of social media accounts "dedicated to atheism and desecration of the sanctities", the judiciary's Mizan news agency reported.

The Quran is out of date and has no revillance in today's world and the prophet Rael endures insults all the time besides I'am sure the prophet of Islam will ignore these insults even if he isn't on Earth anymore but on the eternal life planet.If it were Raelian Islam those two muslims would be alive today we should not kill people for hating us especially if its Islam and the Quran.reacting with violence isn't Islam plus I will not follow it if the state of a country based on Islam excutes people who disagree with them so be it!

In a word, Yes. Much as the Repubs like to bash Muslims for Sharia law, etc., they are just the American version of the same totalitarian, fascist, theocrats as them. Hypocrisy is their stock in trade..

@AnneWimsey Islam has nothing to do with race, just as fascism has nothing to do with race: they are vile ideologies that drive genocides. You're just a genocide denier; on the same level as Holocaust deniers. Defenders of fascism have a very nasty smell about them, and when they go around calling people racists for attacking fascism, they absolutely stink.
@David_Cooper Wow, the fact that my enrichment Junior Year HS project was a 36-page report on the Holocaust, (the Sophomore one was on the Depression(s)we have had in this country BTW, and no Senior project because i graduated after 3 years) somehow makes me a Fascist? Good luck with that......
@AnneWimsey I didn't call you a Holocaust denier, but a genocide denier - that's a wider category. Your acceptance of a genocide by one category of fascism does not let you off the hook for your denial of genocides by another brand of fascism which you are encouraging to spread. I condemn all genocide-driving fascisms. You not only fail to do so, but actively back some.
This is why I'm against Theocracies and won't live in one (because the Theocrats would soon kill me).
