The site administrators have failed to renew their security mechanism. That means that most web browsers will refuse to connect. I've had to go to some lengths just to access this website in its unsecure state.

You aren't seeing people ignore this site as much as you are seeing people unable to access it.

Once all the really noisy people made it to level 9 or 10, they went away ... so the site is dying a slow death anyway.

Well I've been at level 8.4 for about 30 years. I don't think I'll ever reach that point so you'll have to contend to this noisy one.... if there's still anyone here.

@TheoryNumber3

You aren't an 8.4 ... you are obviously a 10.
🙂

@AtheistInNC Awww you made me blush! Thanks 🙂 That was nice 🙂

I'll be here too until it goes away. I wonder if the admin. is still among the living.

As long as I can access the site, I will continue to do so. When I no longer can, that will be the end for me,.

That's my plan too, but as I said below, it would be nice to know what's going on

I'm not sure. Sticking with the site until the end myself, but it might be a purge in which those who are left start up the site again. IDK. If this happens and this site did not go as the admin wanted it to maybe he can decide to allow an evolutionary process that fixes it.

On the other hand, It would be nice to have some input from them about what their plans are.

Seeing the site take this hit has made me better appreciate how unique it is, and how unique a community we are. I’m certainly in for helping start up again if I can.

@The-Krzyz As long as the site stays up the first thing is to help people get around that certificate part blocking their browsers. This happens because this site is https and the browser (or phone) has to make an exception. The browser thinks the site could suddenly be bogus and therefore a threat without a valid certificate.
