Rhetorical Question, but why does it seem like all the ladies I look into or look into me on sites like OkCupid say in their compatibility questions or bios that "Religious and it's important to me". Is this like a flame/moth scenario? Do I give off religious pheromones and I don't even realize it. Ugh.
Friend suggested Agnostic.com so here I am. Lets see if this goes any better (I'll be surprised if I get a lady who is considering a convent or the beach for her next career move here).
This site has never had viable local dating options for most members here, and that was back when the site had tons more members than now. You are never going to find someone to date here, unless you are willing to fly cross-country to do it, or are lucky enough to live in one of the few large urban areas that has a decent number of active members on here. My local online dating pool seems to be chock full of women who either attend conservative, evangelical or non-denominational churches, rather than being even Catholic or mainline Protestants, so you can imagine how few compatible women there are for me to date, that are either non-religious, or only moderately religious, enough to accept me for dating. It seems to me that, even before the site went dead recently, we were already down to only a couple hundred active members here.
Right now our site has a certificate problem so not many on here replying to you. We hope that is fixed soon.
As to "religious and it is important to me" I find that on OKCupid all the time. It gets worse when the site itself claims you have a lot in common with this person. Then on other sites someone posts that "atheists are still religious." About what? What is it I am religious about and why do people think I want to argue this with others?
Sadly I think that is unlikely. i think if admin were going to fix the problem they would hasve done it by now. A pity I miss the interaction with fellow non believers .
