I was behind a car in traffic today which had a bumper sticker saying that if anyone needed prayer, to call the featured number.

It struck me again how inane it is for Christians to pray for each other. Why is it not enough for the the afflicted person to pray? Will god only pay attention if other people pray, too? What is it, a popularity contest?

I have always wondered which religion the idea of prayer was stolen from. It seems like just another angle to get you to give them money.

When believers pray for each other it is an admission that they all "sin." After a while you might have a lot of stuff on your fellow member and can control them.
