Sorry isn't the word I'd use to describe such hateful ignorance.

Czech village priest sorry for smashing pumpkins

Before I read the article I thought it was about the band.

"He said he would have acted differently had he known they were carved by children."

Another liar for Jesus. Who the hell did he think carved them? He needs to go live anywhere else.

What stoopid dildo.
Who would have thought a "priest" could be so thick.

A) Halloween is All Hallows Eve a Christian celebration meaning the day before All Saints Day
B) Samhein now often celebrated by Pagans on Oct 31st was actually a movable feast varying between the end of Oct and the middle of Nov depending on the phases of the moon and was not Satanic as there is no devil in pagan tradition. It is a time to thank your ancestors for the new year.
C) Jack O' Laterns were nothing to do with Halloween or Samheim but were a Northern European tradition used as night lights for children (Rübenlaternenkind) when the dark nights set in, made from root vegetables such as turnip to make them feel safe. When the tradition was carried to the USA pumpkins became the preferred medium.

Yawn, just another entitled asshole who never considers the rights of others. Apologizing without admitting you were wrong is something we expect small children to recognize as hypocritical.
