I had a splinter in my finger so I had gone to the medicine cabinet in the bathroom to retrieve the tweezers. When I looked the tweezers were not there where I had left them. So in need of this instrument, I asked the kids if they had taken the tweezers expecting the obvious answer no. They both got up and I followed them into the bathroom mostly out of curiosity. My son preceded to remove the heating vent on the floor. So I was thinking that they must have fallen into the ducting. Well, I was wrong he had taken a magnet stuck to the heating vent cover and put the tweezers on the magnets then replaced the vent cover. I asked him why he had done this his reply was he was trying to catch something. Not quite sure what he was trying to capture. Sure was funny though.

He may have been trying to get back an old lost friend. My twin boys, when toddlers, crammed the vents with small stuffed animals. Had to have “Dr. Duct” do a vent cleaning?

I would say your son was weird, but he wasn't. He was just being a kid.

Yep, kid logic!
