With the environment that Rhonda Santis has created in Florida schools, it would not be impossible a school principal thought this was needed to cover their tail. Florida is short 5,000 teachers because so many left. Either way, this is totally bizarre.

Rhonda Santis. Can I borrow this?

@DenoPenno Please do.

Racism often happens for a reason and the usual reason is tribal competition for resources. Yes, the economy is doing well but the environmental status is crumbling. More people are losing their homes due to storms especially in Floriduh. CC, species loss, lack of clean water and a myriad of other major problems will only get worse. No we do not need a healthy economy to have a healthy environment; we need a healthy environment to provide the resources upon which the economy is based.

Very true. Although, I do not think that there even needs to be a real problem, with environment or economy, only a perception that there is a problem. Since racism is often found among the wealthy and secure, who enjoy the very best that is on offer and have no empathy for those in need, as well.

@Fernapple But the 'wealthy' still need people and also worry that others will also climb the ladder and try to get their fair share.

@jackjr Very true.
