As an Agnostic I can tell you this is NOT copasetic or typical for non-believers. I'm ashamed of those people (Atheists). Being disrespectful as a form of retaliation is not acceptable.
I'm a straight man but I don't care what other consenting adults do in their private life. This is just a display of a sect gone wild, and most likely from a form of mental illness. Very sad that they think what they did was okay.
