Physicist the world over all agree on the definition and nature of the electron-volt.

There are religious types who are prepared to kill each other about the definition and nature of God.

Enough said.

Despite earlier training in Christianity it would be utterly impossible for me to claim any knowledge about definitions or a god or the nature of said god. To do so would only be another opinion.

Sometimes there is scientific controversy or a difference of opinion. The big difference is that in science it is not geographical or tribal. Take for example the nature of ball lightning. It would be impossible to predict a scientist's opinion on the subject depending on whether they live in Pakistan, India, Italy or Israel. Contrast that with religion, where the "truth" is different depending upon what tribe you belong to.

Nice contrast! 😎👍 While there is often vigorous debate among scientists, there has never been a war over whose science is the true science. Scientists have better ways of settling such disputes. It's called evidence. 😂😂😂
