They're all horrible.....

That poor man. 😟

All. Funny how most people's real thoughts only come out in spite.
Or when they're drunk.
Also part of why relationships fail.

For me it would be #3. Luckily, I've never had that said to me, or even implied.

@Donotbelieve I'm sorry. I hope you feel better off without them.

They can all be devastating depending on your investment and sensitivity.

They are all hurtful. Probably #3 or #5 are the most crushing especially if it was a relationship of more than 6 months. They all mean "hit the road" and every person handles rejection and people often make a decision to break up in as nasty a way as possible

Unfortunately it happened to me

It also happened to me

That's terrible I'm sorry. I married my partner of 4 yrs only to find out that she liked to entertain the advances of other guys.

all could be affective

Never had any of those told to me directly, but have experienced 1, 2, and 5 in various combinations.

I've never heard #4, so that one's out. XD

I vote for #8 - "I'm not going to be quiet anytime soon."

Also, "Fix your own Damn dinner!" sucks too.

I actually got "ghosted" by a person I thought I had a genuine connection with... That one was really bad because there was no closure... :/

I think you're right. Not being told anything is probably the worst.

I love you but I am not in love with you..

"I love you."

Want something truly hurtful?

"Why, Jeffrey? Why?"

"Because you were convenient, Baby."

Three or four would get me.

After 16 years of marriage:
Him: "I don't love you anymore."
Me: "What? What are you saying?"
Him: "I love you but I am not in LOVE with you anymore"
Me: (crying into my meatballs at an Italian restaurant) And you're telling me here?" Is there someone else?
Him: "No."

(3 months later)
Me to my mom: "He has been seeing someone else for a year."

What do you want for tea?

3 for sure..life is too short to be messed around..

0

"I've met someone else."

That's honest though. Who wants to be with someone who's pining for another?!
Not me!

All of them and then some !

  1. It's me, not you.

IDK, I've been married since 1984. Can't remember who said what previously.
