found an old wallet that I replaced because it was falling apart and inside the torn lining was a phone number from a stripper that wanted me to call her that I thought I'd lost that night-beside her name was the notation "silver dollar nipples". It's 25 years old. Should I call the number? Been thinking about it for 6 months.

I have a pocket knife, a flint and steel, and a compass. I have had them for years. I always keep a small notebook and a couple of pens. I have my house key on my ancient crescent moon keyring, with a small self defense thingy on it, and my car key on a keyring with a horsehead snapped carabiner. Otherwise, just the usual stiff.

I had a clean out. Only arbitary thing i found was a note giving planting instructions for salix viminalis (willow), not very intetesting i'm afraid. ?

Ever since high school I have always carried at least one pen on me at all times. I thought it would be essential since I'm never without one, but apparently it isn't since I'm always asked if I have one.

A tattered paper list of actual phone numbers of the people I can most count on. Sad thing is, most all of them are now 3 thousand miles away … but I can’t bring myself to toss that paper..

What I’m more concerned with is a little metal ‘cross’ I placed in the ashtray (never used for ashes) of my vehicle… A kind old man hunted for a mower part amid his career stash until he found what I needed.. I’d been patient, and appreciative, so he handed me that cross. I’ll need to remove it in case my daughters end up with it from the remains of my head-on ..or something. But as anti religious as I am, it meant so much to him, I kept it..

I've owned three of these over the past two decades. Lost one and gave the other away. Not many know. It's always in my purse.

The only unessentials I keep in my wallet are my membership card to Sigma Pi Sigma (physics honors society). It definitely means something to me, but I don't think anyone who knows me would be surprised by it.
