I've done it all but one thing, find a truly compatible soul mate.... So yeah, my bucket list has been reduced to one item

As long as I live another two weeks I will be marking Niagara Falls Ontario off my list. I have so many things on there, it's hard to pick just one. I would like to either visit Europe or ride in a hot air balloon.

I have done Niagara Falls and Europe. I helped pack up a hot air balloon (close as I ever got)

Same here. Have you been able to find anywhere to skydive?

Win a Gold medal in the Olympics in Archery.

. No, not that Olympics that you're thinking about, the California Seniors Olympics, for geezers over 50 😉

Kiss & hug a big tree in california. ... Breed my dog....(he's got an unusual pedigree, fair warning anyone who jumps on me about this I WILL block you without hesitation, if this offends you, go ahead & block me now... )

@Akfishlady Yes that is something very high on my list.... ❤

Go to the Avenue of the Giants up in the Cali redwoods. Those are some of the biggest trees on Earth. Mind-blowing.

@Condor5 ❤ ❤ ❤ I'd love to! Thanks for the tip 🙂

Why would anyone jump on you for that?

@nvrnuff Too many people these days think there are no breeders of the highest ethic, assume all breeders are created equal, and I don't have the time nor the patience to debate why that mindset is woefully mistaken. Not that I'm against rescue mind you, but the adopt don't shop campaign is false advertising set forth by not stewards of good animal husbandry, but AR zealots. The is a difference... and actually, the propagators of such mentality are naively helping facilitate introducing new pathogens to this country probably as a result of the importation of cough "rescues" from other countries...Organizations that masquerade as animal welfare activists are too often truly "retail rescues" and likely responsible for the new tick disease emerging on the east coast. ...and asian meat dog flu...
🙂

@nvrnuff anyway, I'm not a breeder proper, but have a dog from old school, vintage, long lived lines and it's going to be a tragedy in the breed if one in his litter isn't bred... But I would buy a dog from a steward of good ethic all day long, as that provides an "insurance policy" of sorts, should anything happen to me, illness, death, etc my dog will never see the inside of a shelter/"rescue" because the community , breeder, sibling owners, would step in to make sure his next home is properly screened.

@Qualia I never realized it was such an issue. Personally, I think pure bloodlines should be continued, although there are instances of over propagation I'm sure.

@nvrnuff It's like anything. You have to do your homework. No doubt there are bad breeders out there, I know of many of them! some are even "names"! Then again the good ones are wonderful people & keep health & welfare alive way beyond the average pet owner. At its best it's a family affair. I greatly admire the whole familys who are involved together. It's so cool to see.
Thing is, from great breeders no one is going to just walk in & get an animal just cash in hand! You're going to be screened, thoroughly, or should be. This helps curtail bad fits. People often want what doesn't fit their lifestyle. Hey there are breeds I greatly admire but know I'm not high octane enough to measure up, and that's fine. I'd rather know beforehand than schmooze my way into something that's not in the dog in this case, interest, mine or the people who put their blood sweat & tears into producing cherished family members.

I want to visit all 50 states. I've been to 47. I still haven't been to Alaska, Hawaii, and Maine.

You just couldn't pick states near to each other could ya? Wonderful places, all 3! Just spent 3-weeks in AK in March!

I might just drive up to Maine sometime this summer. I recently saw a cruise up and down the coast of Maine. Since I've always wanted to take a cruise, I might kill two birds with one stone. I'll see how much artwork I can sell in the next couple weeks. This will determine if I go or not.

Give 45 a weggie......lol

I want to see the pyramids in Egypt.

Sadly due to vandalism and people just being people you really can't get close to them. Also the area around them is the worst kind of tourist trap with people aggressively trying to sale souvenirs.

Travel to Africa, South America ,Central America Asia, and Australia.

3

Reincarnate!

3

Win a major award.

Any of these: See the Northern Aurora Borealis, Smithsonian, witness a rocket launch close enough to feel it, move to the desert south west, kick a wild bison in the nuts (and my time will come).

3

Die in peace !!!

3

As odd, or mundane as it may sound, i want to witness a tornado.

Move to Oklahoma or Texas. You'll get your share of those things in just one summer. In fact, if you get too close, you'll probably manage to fulfill your bucket list wish AND meet your end at the same time.

3

Road trip across America to see all the historic sites and places.

3

Buy a one way ticket back to India.

3

Still need to get in skydiving!

3

I want to write a novel and make enough money so that my kids can do something they love without worrying about the pay.

I think l did the things l really wanted to do. May be an opportunity will pop up that l haven't thought of. If not, as long as l can play music I'm OK.
