Have you all had a nice day? I wasn't meant to be teaching but my colleague called in...again. anyway lunch was spent going through A-E emergency assessments with student nurses. This afternoon I spent time doing 1:1s with more student nurses then catching up with emails and arranging a conference on friday. Came home, made tea..sweet potato and mixed bean enchilladas..ironed shirts and did a bit of laundry. Having a chill now before prep for tomorrow...all go. What have you been up to?

NO! Sorry. Didn't mean to shout.
Car broke down on my first day car sharing with a colleague, had to call hubby to rescue me. At 05.50 in the morning ?. Machine broke a link and was throwing chicken everywhere. Which was kinda funny and I am only a line worker, so not my problem. Son has just told me on the way home that he has lost the keys to his apartment and the landlord is currently putting him up for the past three days. And Pappy had a scare as he lost his wedding ring at the shops, and was really wobbly over it. And I have to work tomorrow.
Give me strength?......or a bit of those enchiladas, they sound nummy.

Update. Someone found the ring and handed it in, so he is ok now.

Every day's a holiday ?

I think every day is a nice day, I woke up again. Then coffee, shower, walk to work, drive children to school. Came home, ate my usual breakfast a banana, shook out all rugs, vacuumed entire house, ate grapes for lunch, bought something on Amazon. Walked back to work, drove children home, ate large salad for dinner. Now typing this and a little time to play Guild Wars 2.

You aren't having enough calories

@Amisja lol, it is not just lettuce, a couple of tomatoes, 1/4 onion chopped, slice of deli turkey, fresh shrooms, and light dressing. From being a sit at a desk all day person to free from that, I lost a bunch of weight over the last few years and still working on it.

@Mark013 well done but at a quick count that isn't even 1000 cals. Be careful

I spent most of my day in the garden planting stuff, weeding ,watering, etc. I live in sheltered accommodation and I collect for charity by doing laundry for other people (we have a laundry room) this morning I did four washes and got £10.00. I also go to the shops for people and collect newspapers. I like being busy don't know what to do with myself if i have nothing on the go. I run a group on wednesdays where we are colouring in from books and then collaging a table - if I get my head round the technical side of it I'll post a picture of our efforts when its done.
.

Sounds amazing

Just some obnoxious thumb twiddling.

Applying buggy security patches, logging failures. Downloading drivers which time out most of the time. Installing printers on computers from across the network. Making sure my kids are doing their chores. Counting the minutes until I'm off. (131)

Damn, sounds like a lot! You've made me feel guilty enough for not being productive to actually step away from agnostic.com and go get something done! 😛

Oooh sorry 😉

@Amisja Suuuure you are. lol I did a bit of house cleaning, so I don't feel quite as bad. 😀

Well it ain't that interesting. Spent my time on the elliptical trainer at the gym, had a nice soft boiled egg, toast, coffee and oj breakfast. Booked an appointment for an eye exam. Had a quarterly call with my finance guy (he had some 'splainin' to do), cleared off my kitchen table and filed a little, if you want to call what I do filing, ate a salad for lunch, recycled a little, shredded a little, and I am about to head to the local pub for some cold Pinot and witty (but mostly half-witted) banter. I did do some commenting here on the"ag". Oh yeah, I changed out my FB cover and profile pic. I tell ya, the pace is killing me! ?

Wasted time on this site - my alerts accrue faster than I can clear them.
Made baked potatoes in a "Churrascero", a Spanish device that, uinlike a microwave oven, cooks them superbly with a well hardened skin. Plus a pork chop in the same churrascero.
Booked more of my July trip to UK.
Started to do my tax returns for last year.
Built a stage lighting unit to my own specifications and design.
Finished moving two electrical fittings one foot away from their original positions. (I did the main task two days previously)
Started to fit new architraves to an interior door that had been attacked by termites.
Had a brief siesta.
.... and that's about it, really. Quite a lazy day.
Oh, and answered this post.
Now I'm about to post something myself.

@kenriley I'm a lazy sod, really.
