I have asked questions for years about how two of every tiny insect would be collected and saved and I have yet to hear an answer that makes sense. People follow blindly until they wake up and see the truth.

The "great flood" may, in fact, have happened. But, this story is a metaphor for the Consciousness of Mankind. The many aspects of the Human personality, not the Animals them Selves. So, much of the teachings have nothing to do with the pictures we have created in our small Minds.

The Noah's Ark story is unbelievable on so many levels, but I never understood as a kid why god bothered with the flood at all. Why kill all the animals when it was just the people who were a mistake? Why didn't he just zap all the people? Coulda just poofed them all out of existence, but noooooooo, gotta be dramatic.

Obvious to all, the tale of noah’s ark is just that, a fairy tale, nowhere near the realm of reality. With that, those wishing and pretending it is true avoid those who’d question it, like us. So to avoid the disappointment and embarrassment of being wrong, they seek their own and avoid others, like us ~

They would say God simply controlled their hunger until sufficient numbers existed to resume.
If the Ark anchored on Arafat then how did non-mountainous animals get down? All kinds of illogical questions arise from this fable.

There are two flood stories in the Bible, just as there are two accounts of the creation. Unlike the creation accounts, however, they were woven together by a later reactor in an attempt to merge the two into one account. But the weaving wasn't flawless, and remnants of both accounts are still present. In one version of the tale, the animals went in by twos: the male and his mate. In the other, seven pairs of clean animals and one pair of unclean animals entered the ark.

The reason predators survived is because they subscribed to the second version.

I bet they would say something like; "They were all vegans when they were on the ark, then they evolved."

I've heard it all answered that the entire World meant the known World, so only unique local animals had to be saved.

BUT if you pin down the fundie on local for The Flood then rather than spend 100 years making the ark it would have been better to have just moved up to higher ground, and it would not have served the purpose of destroying all of humanity except Noah & 7 others.

Penguins. How the fuck did they walk all the way from Antarctica to catch the cruise ship-Ark? And with all those animals booking a suite, how do we know that Noah didn't slip up and let two of the same gender on the cruise? Maybe that's why they call 'them' "FRUIT FLIES".

I was lost when they said Noah was 600 years old.....plus how did they repopulate the world (Especially the different races) in such a short time??????

I don't know anyone who would actually believe in this theory.
