Time to head up to the cottage, do a bit of puttering and maybe some mushroom hunting in the woods.
So jealous! I guess this is a well-deserved respite after the cold winter--Enjoy!
The cottage has been in the family since WWII, we have resisted all attempts to sell off or sever the property which is the last large parcel on the lake. It is our sanctuary and has always been a neutral zone for the family, whatever the issues may be that are going on, they get left at the gate or you can just turn around and go home. No TV either but lots of old games to play if the weather turns rainy.
GREAT song!
1972: I'd put this on the intercom freq in our Huey when transporting replacements from base camp out to a firebase. Crew Chief, Co-pilot and I loved it.... Singing along, Loudly!!! New guys (infantry).... not so much.
My first husband attended Woodstock as did my ex-significant other. Didn't know either one of them at the right time. Oh well. Was there in spirit.
