Words and phrases you would like the world to do without. I will go first.
I know, right?
Person 1: The weather is going to be great this weekend.
Person 2: I know, right?
The overuse of Literally.
That was an amazing response
Lol, I’m guilty of IKR. I’d rather hear that than ‘whatever’. Or ‘yeah, but’. ‘The struggle is real’ also has passed its sell-by date.
"Arguably" as in "Steph Curry is arguably the best 3pt shooter in the NBA right now." Well hell, maybe Curry isn't all that good if you have to argue for his case every single time.
The overuse/misuse of the word "Amazing" ... most often abused on FB.
Speaking of "right", I can't stand it when I ask someone how to do something and in their explanation, they keep injecting "right?" at the end of every sentence. When I hear "right?" like that I want to answer "I don't know, that's why I'm asking you, stop asking me if it's right."
@Davidthinks I am with you on "I know, right?". To me it's a very annoying fad. So funny I'm not the only one who feels this way.
In the spirit of this election cycle, "I'm ____ and I approve this message" is a phrase I just cannot tolerate anymore.
I find myself saying, in response, "Of course you approve this message, you nitwit, you're the one delivering it."
