The Museum of Natural History/Rose Center/Hayden Planetarium in New York City.
The Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral in Florida.

The Museum of Science and Technology in Munich, Germany is incredible.

Next time you're in L.A. go checkout the Watts Towers. I thought is was one of the most interesting and coolest things there.

Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, Natural History museum, and Shedd's Aquarium, all on the beautiful lakefront. The wonderful architecture of Chicago is amazing also. Kennedy Space Center in Florida. If you can, watch a rocket launch. I watched the Skylab launch, many years ago, and it was awe inspiring.

Collegium Maius in Krakow. Absolutely superb. Copernicus studied there and his work was one of the first rationalist bricks removed from the dam of Christianity.
In addition, you'll get to spend some time in the gorgeous city of Krakow
