Its not very publicized, but its based on The Bell Curve, a book that was banned and hated for making statements that some races are a wee bit smarter or a little less smart than others. People focused on that (screaming racism and banning the book) and ignored the main message of the book, which is statistically proving that stupid people breed faster than smart people (often due to utter lack of planning or responsibility) and therefore the scenario put forth as a "comedy" in Idiocracy is actually an inevitability. They make some other interesting predictions as well, its worth reading.

I can't vote on this poll. Yes, I have seen the movie, but it's certainly not the best movie ever. It's too disturbingly real to like. It made me uncomfortable. That is not why I go to the movies. If you are going to make a poll, don't make it in such a biases way.
