I hate people

Miss that privacy.

A little bit of both. It would take some time to get used to the fans because I'm a natural loner pretty much, but I would show my appreciation for their fandom. It must mean I have done something to gain their admiration.....hopefully. I also bet it would suck walking down the street and having to stop every 15 feet to take photos and sign stuff though. You probably can't eat in too many restaurants without someone interrupting your meal or conversation either.

Why not both?

But in all sincerity, it would depend on what I’m famous for. If I was an actor, I would enjoy the attention. If it was because I did something terrible, I’d definitely miss my privacy.

Yeah sorry about that, there probably should've been more options. Or maybe I should've just asked what would you like and dislike about fame.

@zing I was just picking. I thought I had the meme picture saved of the little girl that said why not both. And my answer says more about me. I tend to over analyze simple things. 🙂

I wouldn't mind some midlevel fame. I just wouldn't want the superstar level of fame that isolates you from living anything even resembling a normal life. If I could get a level of fame that only resulted in a couple people a day stopping me to take a picture I think I could live with that.

I'm an introvert, I'd just stay the same or I'd wack-out

I wouldn't miss my privacy because I would still be a recluse. 🙂

Actually this is a question that I often ponder. It must be horrific to step outside and be constantly recognized.

2

I guess it all depends on the type of fame. I sure as hell don't want to be "YouTube famous." There seems to be an awful amount of obnoxiousness attached to certain types of fame anymore.

3

I'm sure most people would enjoy the attention at first but it wouldn't be long before it becomes a serious nuisance doing anything public. Be thankful for your privacy!

I did try to be an actor for several years. I wasn't really motivated to succeed because i was in part afraid of losing my privacy. I just enjoyed acting.

2

Both.
Because I'm complicated.

2

I love my privacy of course. ?

3

A "both" option would be nice for voting. I'd probably enjoy positive attention to a point, then I'd want a large dose of privacy.

Sorry, I thought about it afterwards. I may or may not enjoy a lot of attention depending on how I'm feeling at the time (probably not), but famous people usually have influence which could be useful - hopefully it would be used for good. I'd still need privacy though, but I don't worry about that because I doubt I'll ever be famous.

I would never want to be famous even if I was filthy rich. I'll pass on that, it's not worth it.

2

I would need to become famous to make that determination but my initial response is to maintain my privacy.

6

I work to protect my privacy now, if I became famous or infamous I'd still want the same level of privacy.

It's a double edge sword.
You learn to hide in plain sight.
