Hello! I just wanted to post because I'm new on here. I'm usually pretty antisocial, too, so this is a nice way for me to ease back into it. I rarely meet anyone who is an atheist. Almost everyone I know is religious, and I need more like-minded people in my life, even if just over the internet.

Well, then you came tho the right place!
Lots of atheists in San Jose, where I live. There is a pretty active group here, Atheist Community of San Jose. Maybe there is something similar near you?
