Israel, the political entity, is comparable on many levels to the very Nazis that fair minded people condemn. Many Israelis themselves do not like what their government is doing, again rather similar to the Germany of the mid 1930s.
Greed is the major culprit - greed for land, greed for power, greed for religious propagation.
Long gone is their original justification of self defense for the survival of their artificially created state.

Interesting summary Petter. I think that the highly influential Jewish population of the USA contributes to the skewed view we have here of the situation.
Only this week they confiscated boats and returned Gazans trying to run the Israeli blockade on the largest open-air (read concentration camp) prison in the world.
My country makes this and a host of other crimes against humanity possible by supporting Israel's crimes against humanity and calling it 'defense' at the rate of over $10 million a day and rising. Israel isn't the only terrorist state or group. It is just the only one that depends on our support to carry them out.
I'm NOT a Leftist. One doesn't have to be a political Leftist or Rightist to have compassion and to believe what your lyin' eyes are telling you.
