"Lost in time and lost in space and meaning', a quote from the 1975 movie "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". Did you see it?
The writer, a 'Richard O'Brien' is brilliant, probably an atheist with a flare.
Are us atheists lost in a search for meaning?

I find it a mildly interesting movie with some amusing moments and some catchy tunes. Audience watching is more fun.

As for lost in a search for meaning - many of us question life and its purpose. We're not lost, we're just enjoying the ride.

Repeated viewings of the rocky horr…. became the claim to fame of a really weird neighbor girl my age. She’s still weird, and one of the last facebook friends I ..let go. But maybe I’m weird? When I notice everyone flocking to something, my instinct says - go the other way 😉

It seems that reality has few conclusions, and with limited time, we kinda wanna skip to the end.. I think the beauty’s in the nuances, and can be patient ..with low expectations 😀

I miss those days. Usetabe I'd act it out with the rest of the cast at the AMC 8 in Edmond, OK back in the early 80's. I didnt particularly play anyone (except brad once) because I was more about trying to score some weed and someone to sleep with. what great days.

Don't just dream it, Be it!
I may have seen it a few times, say 14 or so, I may have been pretty high at the time.
I don't think we are lost and in search of meaning, more likely we just want to know what's for dinner.

Has anybody EVER seen Rocky sober?

@webbew1 nobody I know

@webbew1 Our local theatre did an audience participation onstage production while the film was projected on a scrim behind us sort of thing every Halloween for, like, five years and never were we sober onstage. Made dancing in heels extra fun.

@webbew1 I have never seen it other than sober! Over 100 times, at a guess, and anenthusiastic participant. Toast, anyone?
