Worst thing about divorce? having to wear a dress. As promised. I haven't worn a dress since college. Hair pulled back in a pony tail. And I've had a couple of beers at this point. (be nice, I need to start working out again)...

UPDATE: Why a dress? To look nice for court. And the lawyer made me....

UPDATE AGAIN: I decided I looked goofy, so I put a disguise on...

I know! Having to wear a dress was the worst part of the whole thing. I had to borrow one, and then l had to buy shoes and a bag to go with the dress! The whole thing left me scarred. I did keep the dress. Well, l had the shoes and the bag!

@onlyduh I wore mine to traffic court. After the laughter died down, the judge doubled my fine! I don't think pink is my color. ☺

I handled my own divorce and custody, the property was long gone. Clerk of the court made me go out to my car and get some shoes.

You looked very nice. Although, I really don't understand why your lawyer felt it
necessary to tell you to wear a dress.
Then again, I didn't even go to my divorce hearing. I was already living out
of state, and wasn't about to go back.

You look fab in that dress, like you always wear dresses. Looks well put together. I love collecting dresses but rarely get to wear them. They just hang in my closet. Great legs too btw.

@onlyduh If it makes you feel good and you're doing it for yourself, then go for it. Make sure to post another pic of the dress in October.

@onlyduh oh... I see. No it's a longstanding relationship..... I was just thinking of it had mostly been bad or hard ...it might be something seen from a rear view mirror. But if we each take responsibility for its failure.... it would be a hard day.... I get it...still I wouldnt vomit on my shoes...?
