My favorite by Tolkien is "Not all those who wander are lost" I like to follow that outlook everywhere.

Yes absolutely. I read his books when I was 21 years old and they are still my favorites.

@McVinegar I can relate to that. I think it might be time to read them again, now that you mention it.

Kurt Vonnegut, Mark Twain

Eek, I don't see those two together somehow....I love Vonnegut but cannot stand Twain.

@2Enjoy I like both. Mark Twain has a dry sense of humor and in a way, Vonnegut does too, but they have such different styles.

I also like both Vonnegut and Twain (twain's sense of humor while delicious is also somewhat dry and turns some folks off). I'm a fan of everything POE.
