I am trying it out right now for UC IBD. As soon as I started there was an immediate improvement. I stopped after a couple of weeks because the taste was truly awful and making me nauseous and the symptoms returned. I've started taking it again in vanilla flavour about a week ago and again the improvement was immediate.

My whole family takes it for various reasons and we think it works great.

I use a CBD/indica tincture for anxiety and it works great. Here in WA you can purchase marijuana products over the counter at state regulated stores - no doctor recommendation needed. The store I buy it at is called The Joint (cute).

At what viscosity?

You need high doses to get an effect (from some articles I've read) and high doses cause side effects.

Lavender oil would be better.

I use pure CBD tincture for pain and I find it works really well. It's not a panacea, but it does work.

This is my experience.
I researched and looked for safer alternatives, luckily my MD promotes integritive medicine. I take CBD oil for seizures, and for pain on my skull.
I know it works for me.
I know how I feel at the end of the day.
I had horrible side effects from seizure pills and nothing worked. Also, I was on oxycodone
for my skull pain. I didn't want to add fuel to the fire, and become addicted.

My daughter has fibromyalgia and I was considering getting her some to try. However, I don't buy all the hype about hemp as many pot users will repeat any miraculous claim even slightly related to cannibis with any skepticism leaving the questioner treated like a NAZI. For fiber, I believe that we would be better developing kudzu harvesting in southeast where kudzu just can't seem to be killed and has better fiber. It Pacific west, we should be considering other options. Clearly cannibis should be removed from schedule 1 status and studied properly.

Ive been doing research on this as other oils that don’t contain psychoactive canabinoids cmhave been shown to help with nervous system disorders, which I have. Ive been a user and proponent of oils for years. As with any these are not heavily vetted or regulated at this time so make sure you do your research and get s quality product.

I've heard it has more of a placebo effect. I talked to some people in a vape shop and they said to look into kratom pills or powder. It's supposed to work to prevent anxiety.

It's a much more subtle effect than actually smoking herb, but it definitely has an actual effect rather than placebo. Maybe if you're used to actually smoking you'd call it that though, being that you won't have as many obvious signs that it's working. You can tell for sure when you're high, but if you've taken CBD you'll just feel slightly better rather than feeling very different from normal. It ain't a sugar pill but it ain't a blunt either lol.

I am a Kratom consumer. Without Kratom I would not be working or functioning. I had 4 major orthopedic surgeries in two years. The last 2 less than a year ago. Kratom gave me back my life.

@Iamkratom I've been looking into it myself. I'd like to try it but I'm on benzodiazepines as well. I'm going to do some more research so I can get off the benzos and have something less addictive.

@Wurlitzer I've never used it and I don't smoke pot so. I was just saying what they told me at the vape shop.

@SassyLady I've been on benzos so long that it's actually done damaged permanently to my brain. I don't think this is going to be that bad for me.

@SassyLady I am aware. I am also aware that there are four studies by Pharmaceutical companies that indicates Kratom effectively relieves pain with little addictive properties.
Although I appreciate you pointing it out no one takes Kratom unless they are committed to live a pain free life without addiction. Kratom takes work.

Yes they are wonderful. By far the best sleep aid I have ever come across.

I've used it but not seen any differences, however others swear by it

I'd rather have the real thing usually but if you can't smoke/don't think you'd like the psychoactive effects of bud/get too paranoid and it's still illegal for you, CBD is a great alternative way to treat depression, anxiety, pain, insomnia, ADD etc. I've got about everything that herb is good for except cancer and seizures that i know of, knock on wood. Both herb and CBD help.

I used it on my knee that I injured and it helped with the pain and the swelling, no other effects.
