I think the most rational people don’t see God as a “thing” to be believed or disbelieved. They are simply astounded and mystified by the ground of all reality and don’t have time for petty arguments.

Such as William Lane Craig? No time for petty argument? John Lenox? Lee Strobel?

A person can be awed, but that doesn’t mean we have the answer.

Indoctrination or just cos it's cultural

Replace belief in a god with belief in a unicorn , would that be a rational thought?

Because they have experienced the Presence of something much greater than them, and see this force actively working in their lives.

I call that force the "The Great Gazoo". The proof is from the TV cartoon, "The Flintstones" where just as christians claim, humans and dinosaurs walked the Earth together.

But it’s not really true
