Not for profits and churches should be more closely regulated.

Absolutely yes! They can get lots of tax relief from charity work, but profit must be taxed.

I agree. I don't know what happens outside Europe but in certain countries even bigger amounts of money you want to give a relative are starting to be taxed. On that perspective, I see no reason for the religious entities not to be taxed as well.

I don't know enough to be able to even think of that. Yet not everywhere is the same, so nonsense is sayin' "Should." or "Shouldn't." for all Churches together.

It's not black-white. Maybe you USA people can't see anything outside but as I recently told somewhere USA don't have any religion. Whoever tellin' that Catholicism and Protestantism are valid religions and can be used to determine others is in great misleading.
