What a cracker jack of an idea but something that I doubt big government will get behind, instead the system will continue to crush small businesses.

You think the likes of the people that stormed the Capitol are rapidly insane now?

Dream on. Local businesses do not carry quality or specialty items I need.

  1. Narrow shoes and boots. I have to go to Seattle, 150 miles away.

  2. Healthy food for cooking. Healthy food is decreasing in local grocery stores.

  3. Size small women's clothes, jackets, etc.

  4. Quality, designer clothing. Specific hiking clothes, boots and gear.

  5. Special items for gardening and cooking.

Today I drove around town, looking for a Trader Joe's gift card for a birthday gift. Zilch. Now I have to shop online for one.

Do you find those items at Walmart or Costco?

@Surfpirate

Nothing at Walmart or Costco. I have to shop online.

Those things aren't at Walmart either.
For the gift card you get a app and it can be on the phone.

It’s a nice thought, but a stupid meme. The problem isn’t ‘The System’ or ‘Big Government’. It’s just the way capitalism works.

That party to kill small businesses has the pitcher’s mound now.

Probably true, but one must also be aware of th fact that prices to consumers would go up.
