"I seem to have shrunk during the pandemic," I said ruefully last month. Terry laughed.
Karen took this picture. As usual, I was sweaty with no makeup. Braced my feet on a log and leaned back against a tree. Here comes a mountain bicycle! Looked over and "click."
My favorite hiking clothes. Stretchy, breathable and wicking.
So far this year, I hiked 233-miles with 37,900-feet of elevation gain and loss. Yay!
Trees with blue paint will be selectively logged for fire hazard reduction.

I talked on the phone with Brad, a man I felt excited about. He listed seven reasons why women refuse to date him:
- Three divorces.
- Lives on a sailboat.
- Financially struggling from impulsive, bad decisions, he said.
- No money to travel. "Retired, wealthy women want a travel companion."
- He badly over-talks.
- Hopes to work to age eighty to accrue some savings.
- His passion is competitive, long-distance kayaking. This takes him away.
What a sales pitch. Thanks for the warning.
