So are you men relying on porn for sex education? Or are women not communicating with men?

Or are men not listening? Not paying attention? Not caring?

Certainly some of us are not the best listeners but, proper smack on the head may help us to snap out of it???

I'm not really the violent type.

@Nottheonlyone you don't have to be. But you do need to talk. Guys arent mind readers, and arent that great with body language either.

@Parzival I'd say I'm personally quite open, honest, and vocal.

I have a tongue that likes its work. I also have fingers that are well exercised. I also like the toys that some of the websites I have read have said that women like. I have also read that book called She Comes First. Is that enough or do I need to do more?

You ought to become a guru!

I am so glad I'm a lesbian.

Or men prefer to get off first before the woman does. Which is my case rn. I don't have sex much anymore, because it lasts 1 minute! Grrr...

I don't. I rather enjoy focusing on making her cum as much as I can. As a guy, If you focus more on whom your with and less on yourself it makes it more enjoyable for both parties. Not mention your partner will be much more appreciative. And perhaps... more likely to reciprocate in kind.

That's where BOB comes in handy. On his own or as a teaching tool. Men are visual.

It must be that blue, or is it red pill that some guys take. Anyway come over to my place Sweety all in the name of science. We'll do some time trials with a stop watch!
BTW: guys should watch some romantic porn. They don't teach that stuff at school.

@Angelface Oh, okay.

@Angelface, @jules4169 Are you in CO Springs?

@Sarahroo29 women don't come as quickly as men do because of the way the two sexes' bodies are set up. Men are right out there while women have all these nooks and crannies. Add to that, body shaming and religious practices, and I'm surprised that we're literally over running this planet.
Education and rationality is a must with children and young adults as long as it is not salacious and geared to their age level. My mother was an atheist, yet she bought me books because she couldn't handle menstruation and sex ed. w/o a lot of blushes and stammers. Which did nothing to make it sound normal for her three girls. When I became a parent, I focused on proper names, no cute nicknames, and made it simple.
As a result, my daughter enlightened her entire second-grade class on how sex worked. Evidently, it was a hit with a detailed Q&A that I learned about shortly afterward. We decided together that some parents weren't comfortable with more than Disney stories and she needed to know that was their right with their children. That was a harder explanation to her understanding than the other.

@Angelface Awe. I learned the proper names in sex ed. My mom was a Xian.

The reason is because I was not included in this study. 😉 or perhaps they interviewed a lot of women that men are not interested in.

another class we all should of had in high school. sex ed. bullshit. how about how to please a woman in bed. men are easy, we naked . inbed we all ready happy. honesty 411 comunication.

@honesty411 In observing my own sexual response over the years, I have to say this isn't quite true. While men have an easily-visible sign of arousal (erection), various other factors can inhibit orgasm, including feelings of shame, fatigue, sex too soon after the refractory period, and low levels of testosterone, as well as some other physical ailments that inhibit blood flow.

Also, many women display a similar failure of understanding of male anatomy as men do with women. Not all spots on the penis are equally sensitive, nor all rhythms equally appropriate. For example, many women have no idea what the frenulum is, nor where it lies.

You are correct, though....communication is key.

I guess they need to sleep with more gay men.

Mahaha!

hell ya .brink beer, hang out wiht the "boys" and double your wordrobe. ha haaaaa

2

Both. Definitely both. Fortunately I'm not straight, nor is my husband. (Straight women with straight men are statistically worst off for pleasure).

Only when neither one cares about what the other one wants.

2

The latter. I had a terrific mother whom l could talk to about anything and she gave me great advice when it came to questions regarding sex. I was very lucky in that regard.

2

No surprise here lol

I have found, in my intimate relationships that many women are very reluctant (or perhaps even able) to communicate verbally what pleases them. And we really don't have a good sexual vocabulary in our language (no, "do it to me, daddy" doesn't count).

Although it may well be the case that many men ARE relying on porn for carnal knowledge, I think it more likely that they are just ignorant that there is knowledge to be acquired...a matter of "sex should be natural." And clitoral, G-spot, or extra-vaginal stimulation doesn't enter into their thought process.

Personally, I would GREATLY appreciate a woman who was eager to communicate what she likes, and willing to help me getting better at it.

If you're involved with a guy, don't be afraid to tell him exactly what you like. Discuss it at length as foreplay as often as needed. Guys usually like a woman who gives feedback by your words or facial expressions or body language. If your guy doesn't know what he's doing, it's because you didn't train him. All women are totally different in their needs. Expecting him to know exactly what you like when his only experience is from what other women told him or didn't tell him is blaming him when you didn't speak up. I generally do every possible thing that there is and then ask her or gauge response. But generally I can determine where I should be going based on a woman's responses. If he isn't doing that, he likely doesn't care and you should find another guy.

Not this one! Buwahahahaaaaaaaa!

Any woman both loving me and eager to write about our bodies TOGETHER will solve this problem with our book tour publisher and publicist filmographers

Maybe they should learn to bend a bit more ?

Not guilty, just ask the lesbian I met last year.

That figures.

I'd say part of the reason this might be is "increased comfortability" with one's own sexuality among "gay" women.

I say this because I think anyone who openly lives as themselves despite social and cultural (yes, including religious) persecution, then they are probably very comfortable with whatever aspect of themselves for which they are being mistreated.

Or something.

You get out of something what you put into it. If you put the right ingredients into a receipe and go out to ensure you have put in the correct spices and everything else is time and temperature. You have to pump up the tires before you can ride the bike. Slow and easy wins the race. If it isn't worth waiting for, then its not worth having. According to any of these above studies, your going to win every time. One night, blind date, on line slam bam thank you maam is not a noted road to accomplishment. Mix in a little tease, some personality and talk the talk.

Women know what they enjoy.

godef Level 7 Apr 21, 2018

It doesn't matter if women know what they enjoy if their partner has no clue and is only interested in pleasing himself and just assumes the woman will take care of herself the same as he is doing.

That is what they say. My experience is every man and woman has a particular preference and all women don't like the exact same thing.. some may like harder or rougher or softer and I have found men like variations from each other too. If women knew what other women liked it would imply its the same which would make it as easy for men to figure out. Not saying I am rihht...kust my experience.
