LINK "Night at the Creation Museum" Will Change Your Mind About Absolutely Nothing

A few days ago, Eric Hovind posted a trailer for a new movie, released by his Creation Today Ministry, called “Night at the Creation Museum.” (follow link to see movie trailer)

The movie was clearly a riff (I wouldn’t call it a parody) on “Night at the Museum,” the film in which Ben Stiller plays a night-time security guard at the American Museum of Natural History only to find out the exhibits come to life.

This version of the movie was no different. Hovind plays a security guard who somehow gets a job at the Creation Museum without knowing what they believe or what he’s guarding. Over the course of one night, he learns all about the “truth” of biblical literalism.

The Creation Museum has nothing to do with changing peoples minds or selling a message. It is just about selling tickets for money, to creationists who want an easy undemanding day out, which is not going to change anything, and sceptics who are going to laugh , but are still going to spend money.

E. H. has taken part in enough debates with non creationists over the years, to know which are the, almost good, arguments on the creationist side, and which are absolute rubbish. Yet he still keeps pedaling all of them. Because he is probably not even a believing creationist himself, but he knows what sells tickets.

Creation advocates' general approach is "The Spaghetti Strategy"; throw everything at the wall and hope something sticks.
