I’ve recently seen reports in the media of potential resolutions to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Ideas ranging from an east west division of Ukraine along the Dnipro river; to a total withdrawal of Russian influence from Donbas, Luhansk, and Crimea.
I feel any concession to Putin’s aggression will only encourage future aggression in Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, and Finland. It will also demonstrate to other aggressive dictators that neighboring democracies are up for the taking if violence is used; Taiwan and South Korean for example.
The western democracies have provided much material assistance to the efforts of a potentially prosperous fledgling democracy, along with a shit ton of thoughts and prayers. Exactly the same policy the US held from 1939 to December 7th 1941; leaving the UK standing alone. What will be the final Pearl Harbor moment that finally brings the west to realization that the world can’t tolerate a Tojo, Mussolini, Hitler, or Putin to hold power?

This is a very good question but the direction everything is going is bringing an increase in price on everything for us, the common people of the world. This appears to be the name of the game at all costs.

Peace is not profitable.

With millions of volunteers and a steady flow of arms, perhaps Ukraine will not only destroy Putin's forces in the west, but also recover Donbas and Crimea. It would serve Putin right to lose Crimea and its port, along with all the other assets. All the money from the kleptocrats should go toward rebuilding Ukraine. Fuck Russia and fuck all the Putin-supporting fake Americans.

Tojo, Mussolini, and Hitler did not have 6000 nuclear weapons.

@Garban When someone has 6000 nuclear weapons, you don't get to choose whether or not you tolerate him.

@Garban We have never once attempted to remove the head of state of the USSR or of Russia since the USSR/Russia became a nuclear power. It would be insanity to do so.

@Garban When engaging in a military conflict with a country that has 6000 nuclear weapons, you only get to be wrong once.
